Standing on the patio, birds everywhere, ignoring the fact that I was among them. Surrounded by house sparrows, quail, and humming birds… was especially taken with these little gold finch on the ceramic feeder in the trumpet vine. Painted these fun, light, little oils to capture the joy of the moment.
